ALASKA SAF AWARDS
Forester of the Year
The purpose of this award is to recognize Alaska SAFers who have contributed to SAF through their activities. These activities should include work and non-work related contributions to the Society. Your nomination should include a brief biographical sketch and information about each of the following:
Promotion of forestry through voluntary service to SAF.
Promotion of forestry through job experience or other non-SAF work.
Education and other professional development.
About the Alaska Society of American Foresters
The Alaska Society of American Foresters is one of 33 societies forming the national Society of American Foresters (SAF). The Alaska Society is comprised of professional foresters and forestry students throughout Alaska. The Alaska Society is divided into five chapters. The five chapters are Cook Inlet, Yukon River, Dixon Entrance, Sitka, and Juneau.
